Went out for a mother's day family hike to Celestine Lake (one of the trailheads for the North Boundary Trail in Jasper Park). Had the really warm weather, and wide groomed trail all to ourselves. Quite a few critter tracks around (one looked small-bear-like but it was hard to be sure) and a bunch of deadfall on the trail but otherwise quite a nice short trek. The campsite over at Celestine Lake would be a nice change from the really busy sites directly off the road. If you are heading down this trail the last bit of the road (7km or so) is one way only (with each direction getting alternating hour slots), plan ahead, the outgoing times are [800-900,1100-1200,200-300,500-600] and return times are [930-1030,1230-130,330-430,630-730] as of May 2012.

Took my old man in there last summer. He and I loved the location. Gorgeous lake. I hope one day to return and continue up past snake Indian falls and end at Robson... One day.
