Mount Cinquefoil is a great early season outing which won't take you that long but allows for great views of the front ranges near Jasper and might not be overly crowded (at least in the shoulder seasons). After being turned back with 50m of elevation to go (due to a pack of goats rudely taking up the whole ridge) from a snowshoe ascent last winter I was eager to bag the peak properly. The trip got off to a rough start when I forgot to replace the oil filler cap in my car engine leading to a very greasy mess and hastily improvised pot-lid replacement. The trail is pretty decent and one your on the ridge its quite hard to get lost. The views from the summit of Mt. Colin and Roche Miette are well worth the trip.
