Not much to say about this one. Set out on a quick family snowhshoe trip up to the lookout as described in Nugara's snowshoeing book. Parking at the trailhead behind the Mt. Kidd Manor the route was quite obvious with a very well packed trail leading up to a crossroads of ski/showshoe trails and then heading off into the trees on a (much less well packed) trail. Due to the nicely stable snowpack we headed up the more avalanche-prone route described in Nugara's book directly up the treeless slopes below the lookout and then after a short bushwhack passed the treeline and were rewarded with clear views of the valley below. Don't expect this to take all day but in clear weather it is a great view for the amount of time it takes to ascend.
